That you never knew you wanted.
If you would have asked me even five years ago, what I was planning on doing with my life, firefighter, EMS and small business owner wouldn't have even be in the picture.
I never wanted any of this.
Believe it or not I never actually wanted to be married or move away from home either but that happened.
I was married at 19.
I moved down here to Tennessee two years later.
Nine years after that my husband became a firefighter. A year later he dragged me into that world kicking and screaming. I thanked him for it.
A year after that I was bitten by the medical bug and took my first class. EMR.
A year after that it was EMT class.
In between those years I started Fire Women Creations with a friend and while that friend dropped off, I took it to a whole new level.
I can't believe all of this has happened in what could be described as a blink of an eye.
I may not be exactly where I want to be yet but I'll get there.
Life is extremely hard right now but it can and will get better in time.
Sometimes a little faith is all you need to get through.
Of course you have to work at it as well lol.
Has anyone else taken a path in life that they never thought they would before?

@anya12adwi Thank you. My husband has been a firefighter for five years now and rescue squad for three.
I've been a firefighter for four years, rescue for three and I just got my EMT license this year. Working on applying for the local EMS station maybe next month

"sometimes a little faith is all you need to get through." - absolutely.
i'm really glad you took all the opportunities you had. i hope it all works out for you
this post is kinda relatable:
i never imagined i'd have a relationship or get married - but here i am.
never thought i'd leave my home country even though it really offered me nothing - and here i am, miles away from home.
i am grateful for everything. who knows what other opportunities will show up. i'll just try to enjoy life as much as possible. i guess that's the whole point
