Have you set your totally Arbitrary MyLot goal for October 2024?

I am going to make payout this month with no problems. Last month I had to resort to cereal posting and commenting on the 29th and 30th to make it.
I will set my totally arbitrary goal for this month at $OOOX.YYYY. Sigh. there was a time I could shoot for $OOAB.CCCC.
Can you compute how many days we have left in the month without counting on your fingers? I am good at math (or "maths," for those of you who are boorish enough not to be American), but sometimes I still have to use my fingers. I also still sing the ABC song in my head when I have to remember whether "m" comes before "n."
But I digress.
Let's see. "Thirty days has September..." OK, so October has 31 days. Here I go "One, two..." Yep. it's the 24th, so including today, we have eight days to make our MyLot goals.

I made the minimum!
These last years I make it only if the month has 31 days and nothing happens (no birthdays, no doctor, no nothing). For me it is a miracle although I used to get 10 and even 15 bucks a month. That means, of course, that I´m not here for the money. $5 in my country is not enough to pay for a kilo of the buns I like. I don´t count with my fingers. My fingers hurt a lot if I move them
That means that I have lost the ability I used to have for math (s). Lately I have decided that nothing is worth adding.

Well, I do remember making some "Near" Goals but that was perhaps Ages ago.
I finally made the payout this month, after a long time.
As such just coming here, discussing, sharing news etc is my main motto.
So do you plan any sort of "Cereal" posting??

I have. I always set it at payout. And as of this posting I'm happy to report I'm under a dollar to go. I hope to make it with at least one day to spare. But we have erronds tomorrow.

@aureategloom I don't think Switzerland would allow me in. I am too rough around the edges. They would probably arrest me there if I planted corn seeds in an unauthorized space.

Glad you'll make it. I thought of you when I checked my earnings this morning. I only did one post yesterday, but I got involved in some interesting discussions, like we often did in the "old days." I wound up having a "good day," by recent standards.

I barely know what day it is, but I'm sure my fingers will be enough to do the math. 
It's almost as if I got "better" stuff to do lately, so I might not make it this month. That's over $2 I gotta make in 6 days (yay, my fingers were enough).

You do mental math? Wow that was awesome. I can do math but I am not quick in solving math problems or computing something, I need my pen and paper and sometimes I need calculator.
I hope to get $20 just like the old friends I have here before, but I don't see them now, their last post was before pandemic.

This month , yes , I kept a financial milestone to be achieved in mylot and hopefully I should reach my payout this month. I did not have a great last month although my responses and discussions were almost at he same rate as this month but earned less. I did not increase my posting rate or discussion rate. Just ensured I spend the same time and well like some had a lucky streak of few good days in mylot. Plus, it has been five months in mylot , so at sometime I am bound to reach the payout. Add t that October has an extra month , which means a day more to get the cut off mark. Hopefully , next time I would take lesser time like some of you.
