The difference between tragedy and comedy: Tragedy is something awful happening to somebody else, while comedy is something awful happening to somebody else. --------Aaron Allston Many people claim that there is never anything funny about someone dying. But, if you were to check their browser histories, there is a 95% chance you'd find that more than 90% of them have checked out and enjoyed the Darwin Awards at least once. The hard unpleasant truth is that, distasteful as it is, we find many deaths funny. All of us. But it's kind of like a weird sex thing that really turns you and most other folks on but that very few will admit to or even talk about. So everyone has to keep it a secret. because if someone does admit to being entertained by a funny death, others are quick to point judgemental fingers, even though it turns most of them on, too. I say all that to say this: Johnnie L. Turner had an amusing death. A funny thing happened to him on the way to the pool: "Kentucky state senator, 76, dies after driving lawn mower into pool in freak accident: ‘A hard-fought battle," ((Article Linked Below)). He drove his riding lawn mower into the deep end of an empty pool. If someone had filmed it and put it on YouTube, the ten million people who are now saying, "Sir, you wouldn't think it's so funny if you had driven your lawn mower into a pool," would have watched it. Multiple times. It's odd but they're right. If I drove my lawn mower into the deep end of a pool, I wouldn't think it's humorous at all. Doubly so if the incident induced injuries that later caused me to have a painful death. People and deadly accidents are funny that way. ************** New York Post Kentucky state senator, 76, dies after driving lawn mower into pool in freak accident: ‘A hard-fought battle’ Story by Olivia Land • 2h • 2 min read

I don't thank anyone for life here but I think there is an Afterlife that is far better than this.

Perhaps, the water looked so green, full of algae, that he mistook it for grass, and was trying to cut it, as why would he be driving so near to a swimming pool. We had an incident here yesterday, where a 70-year-old truck driver lost control of his truck somehow, on a straight stretch of road, in the country, went off the road, drove across grassy paddocks, for 200 metres, then ploughed into the bedroom of an old couple, who were both killed by him. The truck driver survived, and is in the hospital, and we can only surmise that he must have fallen asleep at the wheel. As otherwise, why couldn't he change the direction of his truck, or stop it, as it headed for the house? This is still to be determined, but was this a freak accident too, or not??

That was an odd accident. Unless that driver had a heart attack or something, he's going to be in a lot of trouble.
