I have been targeted with every scam. The thing is, I don't use my real name or address on the various sites. So I see the scam from start.
Today I went over to Wikinut, i site I belonged to when it paid.
As I entered and tried to log in there was this pop up which covered the page asking me what I required. I posted 'to log on'.
There was a bag of blather and the final was that I should send them $150.00.
I just shut the browser and shook my head, wishing there was some kind of 911 where I could report this scam and have it dealt with immediately.

You can actually report sites to your countery's athority if you believe it's a scam or fishing site. Furthermore, you should doubble check the address and make sure you reached the right site.

@jaylar Here we have sites and even browsers that can flag and stop those sites from opening up. If you go to a site that's flagged as spam or a scam, then you'll get a pop-up saying it's been flagged and to go elsewhere.

@kaylachan I will try, but wouldn't it be great if we could see the scam and immediately open another window enter the emergency number and boom

There are people who love to get money for free and victimize people who are ignorant and also have a very little savings but still they steal them away from them. But I know there are the most pitiful one when their wrong doing strike back.
