Last weekday of the week. What plans?

Hi friends, It's 16.05 here at the moment. The sun is shining brightly and the atmosphere has been pretty clear since early morning. The skys are quite blue and there are patches of white clouds to be seen around. It has been a busy day for me since the morning. I have come to my office and finished some work. Diwali is just exactly one week away so we are preparing various kinds of dishes that we do this time. And other preparations that need to be done. How has your day been? And how will the US friends spend their day? Anything lined up? I think the friends in the US might not have even started their day. So, good morning and have a good time everyone!

It is nice seeing blue clouds from time to time;it is cloudy here. We will move our clocks for wintertime this sunday night so that's my current occupation

We have seen the blue skies after a lot of time - after a few weeks actually. So it's some change for us finally. I think what you are talking about is the daylight saving time adjustment. Am I right? We don't do that here, by the way.

@grenery8 Exactly. We humans have already interfered a lot with the nature. Yes adjusting one hour here and there won't make any difference because the adjustment is literally made in the clocks and watches as far as I know. So it might not be hampering the nature basically. Am I right?

@abhi_bangal it's not that saving but yes, that's it. we call it wintertime here. i am glad you don't have it. day should go the way it started and not, us, humans, intervening

@aureategloom Yeah I also have many friends who celebrate Ramadan. And I am aware of how the festival is celebrated. That is why I totally agree with you that it's so different. But at the same time, it is so similar. Oh so, you know that Diwali falls next Friday? Cool! You got that right. Even here, kids are always more excited then adults. They have their own plans to celebrate a particular festival. And that's how it has been going for years. But as adults, the same excitement dwindles down year by year.

@abhi_bangal well, i actually do know what Diwali is, because one of my friends is from India. one time Diwali was around the same time as Ramadan (where there's also a lot of lights that mean end of fasting for the day) and it was so nice. so different, but so similar kids are always more excited than adults i hope you have a nice time during preparations and Diwali next friday

I hope you enjoy Diwali. It is Sunday here kind of a slow day, just cooking and watching football. I just got off a long phone call with my mother. Everything seems to be going well up there.

And everything will be going well up there. Yes, we are all busy with the Diwali preparations. And that's why it's taking time for me to reply back to so many comments and responses. Nice to know that you talked long enough with your mother I guess, she might be an elder person (I mean she might be aged). And may have crossed at least 80. Just assuming.

I think it's around 10:00 a.m. there. And naturally your day has just started. So, I am sure you don't have answers to "How has your day gone"?
