I fought for a law against sexual harassment in Jamaica going way back. Many women were against the idea for; "How would a woman get ahead if the man was afraid to talk to them?" Finally the law was passed. in 2021. Now we have a situation. A lecturer at UWI claims she was sexually harassed. UWI states: Now... if the University is telling the truth then the law is being used for a far different purpose.

it was on TVJ last night. The spokesman for the University descirbing the man errors she had made, the fact she didn't sign her contract, etc.

@grenery8 she was on staff, did a number of things, and her contract went from 3 yrs to 2 yrs, and she didn't sign it.
