Police in Massachusetts rescue a dog that was stranded in a lake

Police officers from Wellesley Police Department answered an emergency from the owner of a dog who witnessed his or her dog who jumped into Lake Waban one week ago when the dog was chasing geese and fell into the lake struggling to stay afloat.
The owner of the dog attempted to rescue the dog from Lake Waban but due to the cold water, the owner decided to go to shore.
The police officers used a drone to locate the dog and two Wellesley Police boats were able to rescue the dog and the pet to his or her owner the same day.
The best part is that no one was injured in the incident.

The owner did try to rescue the dog but due to the cold water, he or she got out of the water and called for help.

Perhaps the dog overestimated its own swimming abilities, and underestimated the temperature of the water.
Hopefully, it will learn not just to jump into waters so quickly next time.
