i dont like just sound like divorce. it is always bad, very bad.

It varies depending on what country you live in and if your in the United States it varies state to state. Personally I would just spend the money and hire a lawyer who knows what to do because even if you do it yourself your going to have to pay the fees to file the papers and stuff. These days, in my area at least, divorces aren't that expensive as long as they aren't contested (dealing with kids, property, ect). If you and your spouse are ready to call it quits, no one is looking for spousal support, and you don't have joint property go half in half and just get one lawyer to deal with everything so that you get it taken care of the right way.
