With Halloween nearly on us, does every one remember this guy?
He was a killer of children.
A poisoner.
His name was Ronald Clark O'Bryan and he was a Deacon.
He poisoned the Pixy Stick straw candies and killed his son Timothy. He also had a daughter who he tried to kill.
Apparently it was motivation enough for him because of a life insurance policy.
He nearly harmed other children as well, but in the end he was executed.
This happened in 1974, he was convicted in 1975 and was put to death in Texas in 1984.
What an evil man.
There was a movie called Candy Man too.

I got that he has a motivation but he is an evil to do that.

I have been seeing his story in my YouTube feed. Why do people like this have a yearning to kill? How can they kill their offspring? This is so fascinating to me.

In October of 1974 I was 3 years old. Don't remember this.

And here I was thinking you were talking about Sammy Davis Jr's hit song, "The Candy Man"
No, OT, don't remember this one, but do remember a story about a guy who was putting razor blades (I think) in Halloween candy.
Have you heard of that one?
