I probably need more sunlight to get the true beauty of the glass fruit garland in this photo. Friends came over yesterday and helped me hang the garland. Its red strawberries and orangy yellow pears and purple grapes. I kept my mouth shut as friend banged nails into the very old wood- very and I mean very near the old glass. Eeeek. Mouth shut as she did me a favor and hung the garland. This morning we had a glorious moon sliver in the sky and some sun. That all went away as afternoon came on. Heavy rain and more heavy rain. I hope you can get a teeny glimmer of what the garland looks like. If we get sun sometime soon I may snap another photo.

That is glass? How cool! Did you find it in a vintage store, or were you lucky enough to have it already?

@AmbiePam Thanks. I admit to being addicted to Marketplace on Facebook. I find treasures from local peeps there that sometimes don't cost too much. I love color and texture. Yes its glass not resin.

@AmbiePam Thanks. My house is an elderly plain house. I'm slowly adding enhancements without going too nuts.
