As mentioned in a previous post, tonight's theme is Fajitas. And Bud Light. And, since we are four days away from Halloween now, I feel obligated to also include something scary.
Since I don't have anything scary, I'll tell you about the Paranormal Experience I had this week. On Thursday, early in the evening, just about suppertime, I pulled into my driveway as usual.
Everything was normal until it shifted into Paranormal. That happened when my garage door opened. By itself. There was no one there. If someone had been there, it would have been odd but there would be no mystery over how the door opened.
The likely mundane culprits, dogs, cats, raccoons, etc and so forth, have been ruled out because this door latches securely and you have to twist the knob to open it. Likewise, the wind, of which there was none that night, has been ruled out.
So, who opened that door? Willie? The Poor Boys? Given the time of the incident, they are prime suspects but I looked around and cleared them by virtue of them not being here.
So what's left?
My friend, Sherlock likes to say, “When you have eliminated all which is impossible, then whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.”
If he's right, the truth in this case must be a ghost. A very low-key, boring ghost. Because all he or she does is open a garage door. And he or she only did that once.
For the most part, that's the story of my Paranormal life. Nothing much going on.
That's it for this one.
Hold it. There is one more thing, ma'am. Many people have been coming to me and saying, "Sir, A long time ago, in a Galaxy far far away, you talked about End-of-Life Visioning and mentioned that there are many videos on the subject but you didn't include one. This perturbs me. So fix it. Before Halloween. Or else."
So, I will unperturb ((Disperturb? English is an impossibly difficult language. That's why I never bothered to learn it)) them right now. With this:

The key word is "Little." It's certainly not a flashy, show-off kind of ghost.

I tend to agree with your pal Sherlock. you must also remember that this is the time when the veil between this world and the other is closer. It's probably a test.

@xander6464 ........I was kidding. It either happens or it doesn't. Some never experience any paranormal things.

How do these tests work? What happens if you pass? Or fail?

@celticeagle I wish that would change. I'd like to see a more equitable distribution of Paranormal Events.

Do you have an automatic opener installed on the door?

On the big doors for cars, yes but this one is a regular door with an ordinary door knob. No electronics of any kind.

@BarBaraPrz There was no wind. No earthquakes that I know about. Caspar and G-Juice are prime suspects.

My uncle's tv would come on by itself. We think it was a short, but it was spooky though.
