No internet for a day

It can be really challenging when there is no internet connection, especially since I depend on it for my work from home - it is my main source of income. Luckily, I managed to top up my phone with data, which allowed me to perform some essential online tasks. Plus, I downloaded a few movies to help pass the time and keep the boredom at bay. How do you deal when you find yourself without internet at home? Do you go out, or do you have other activities that keep you entertained?

In today's digital age, the internet has become essential to our daily lives. Nearly everything we do revolves around it.

I tend to go to the old standby of reading. Not terribly exciting, but I always have something to read.

That is great to hear! I also enjoy reading now and then, especially when I feel like mixing things up and expanding my vocabulary. What was the last book you read? Hehe

I either watch a DVD movie or read. I get lots of things to read from the free library.

Haha! Without the internet, we can do other activities, like enjoying a good book. Have you finished it yet?

It's essential to take a break now and then, my friend. Spending too much time online can really wear you out. hugs

Glad that the mobile data is a savior for the day. When my internet connection is out, I connect to my brother's internet next door. It was intended to have a separate provider so that we have back up.

Yes, that's right. It's excellent that budget-friendly data plans are available when the internet in my apartment is intermittent or unavailable. And I'm happy to hear you could reach out to your brother for internet connection.

I have my phone data when wifi is not working. It can really be boring if there is no internet especially after work and on weekends.

I top up my phone when I have something really important to do online. Fortunately, I have developed a habit of downloading movies and TV series to keep myself entertained during times when I do not have internet access. I do not have cable TV at home, that is why.

If my home internet goes down, I still have my phone that will provide internet. If the WiFi is down for several hours, usually due to bad weather, i am ok for awhile, plus I keep a portable charger for the phone charged up I can use as well. But I do know it can be very annoying if you need it for work.

I also use my phone for work and keep it topped up with data. It's always smart to carry a power bank with us, just in case there are any power interruptions.

It will be tough to survive without internet connection. Apart from onlin earning , our souce of learning and entertainment is internet. I recollect one time while I was in hotel , they shut down all services for maintainence for a 12 hour period starting early morning. I too survived iwth mobile internt , however could not entertain more as I was without a powerbank then. I survuved the ordeal by sleeping and just working on different plans, engaging the brain on different things. However , we are glued to internet more than ever before . Well , interesting read of how you overcome th ordeal. Have a great day!
