My Hometown for Days

I am supposed to go to my hometown on October 31st. Changed of plan when I learned that my brother next door won't be able to go. He said he just had car maintenance. He is not able to drive the car long drive. I hate crowds. I know that before November 1st, people are returning to their respective provinces for All Soul's Day and All Saint's Day. I packed my bag after my work and booked a car going to the bus terminal. I was at the terminal before 6 PM. I got the last seat on the bus at 6:15 PM. Due to re-routing, I arrived home in the province at 10 PM. It would have been a two-hour drive if my brother can use his car. I will be working from my hometown for 3 days and plan to go back in my place on Saturday afternoon. The last time I was here was during my uncle's funeral in September.

Yup, it is indeed faster by car. Another thing is, the stopover.

I’m not fond of crowds either. I’m sorry to hear your brother couldn’t take you.

That's a long time to sit on a bus.

It would have been more or less 3 hours if there is no re-routes.

It is worth it because I don't have to be alone during this time. But I am going back tomorrow evening.
