If researchers are to be believed, we have at least 4 to 6 dreams everyday. And each one of them lasts at least 5 minutes spanning up to 20 minutes. However 95% of the times, we do not remember what we dreamt, by the time we get out of our beds. This was a short scientific snippet regarding dreams. Let's forget that now. All of us dream and all of us have nightmares as well. But there are a few particular dreams that fit in that 5% category that we clearly remember and they just don't go off our minds. We clearly see everything in the dreams and their decide in our memory for days together. And this happens especially with nightmares. And I am sure some of you will definitely agree with this. I always dream like I have failed in mathematics, as a student, obviously. I don't know why. I am not too close to that subject. Probably that's why I might be dreaming that maths horror every now and then Is there any dream that you can share on a public forum like this one? Are you comfortable doing that if it's possible?

I used to keep a dream journal because my dreams have very creative twists! I had sleep paralysis the very night my friend discussed about his sleep paralysis! The next day I was so angry with him!!

Hahaha... Believe me or not such things do happen. There is a saying in my mother tongue, which means that you dream of those things that you have in your mind or in your brain. Now, as far as the talk with your friend is concerned about sleep paralysis, you discussed this thing and you had that in your mind. That is why it took you over and the result was the same. So that is how our thinking affects our thoughts and our body.

@anya12adwi I don't know about how to deal with the last sentence. Because, once I had a dream where I was in a theater, where I saw so many people. So does that mean, I have met all those people? Just asking. But let me mention one thing - I didn't see the face of even a single person. I just dreamt that I was in a movie theatre and felt that their were dozens of people sitting around. I don't even know with whom I had gone.

@abhi_bangal Yes! Totally! It is also said in dreams we see people who we have seen! No single person occurs whom we have not seen at all!

I have several categories of dreams that I have all the time. One of them is being in school, being late and not knowing what my next class is and where it is. Also, I don't have any note paper or a pen. Very stressful. Have a good day.

Oh, gosh. I used to have those kinds of school dreams for 10 years after graduating high school. Was so glad when they finally stopped!

@jipsyjo30 Oh dear! Looks like your dreams are very stubborn Hahaha... They kept chasing you even after 10 years after you finished your high school. And when I read that they finally stopped, I heaved a great sigh of relief Sorry for pulling your leg, mate. But that's how I am!

This happens with most of us. That's not a problem. Because there are a very few dreams that we actually remember.

I don't remember my dreams as soon as I wake up.

That's natural for almost all of us. I think there are only some specific dreams that we remember very vividly. Otherwise, for the most part, it's the same case as your's - not remembering dreams after waking up.

I have had very lucid dreams and keep a dream journal. What is weird is that I've had dreams that seemed to last for hours but in reality, I only took a half-hour nap! I've never understood the mysterious concept of time when it comes to dreaming.

Uh hu... this really sounds strange to me. You just take a power nap, for example, and you dream for hours. This is really strange. I mean I have never heard anything like this before. Not even in science fictions or anywhere. How does this happen and how do you manage to do that? Your dreams seem to be lucid. But the entire thing looks quite mysterious Hahaha...

I have a lot of dreams that I remember and a lot of them I post on here. The last dream I posted on here was about Wynne Evans! A few days ago I had a dream that it was Sunday and I was supposed to be going to church but instead I was helping pack boxes for someone! I think they were moving house! Then I thought to myself, I was supposed to be going to church today and taking my tablet to show some friends my photos!
