A person in Iowa has died of Lassa fever which is an Ebola-like disease. This person recently traveled to West Africa. Authorities are trying to track down everyone that came in contact with this person.
Today my husband's 2nd cousin and I are going to eat at Olive Garden. I have a coupon for a free appetizer and enough in my survey money to pay for lunch. After that she will pick up the dog and come over to work on my to-do list.
I lost a recent filling and will have to go back to the dentist. Darn it!
Hubby wants me to get new tires and a new windshield before selling the car. That will take us into winter for sure. The new mailbox still needs to be put up as well....and a new battery for the other car. AND get a new washer and dryer. AND I'm still changing email addresses. I'm down to the ones that are problems.
Oh! And we still don't have a landline. I need to call them again. It's been out since the end of September.
What's new with you?
Breakfast - Protein bar
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Chicken patty sandwich, cauliflower, zucchini, apricots
Dessert/Snack - Banana walnut muffin
Dinner - Turkey/Swiss sandwich
What did you eat yesterday?

I would just ask a little less for the car as new tires won't add a lot of value to it for many people. And that's less you have to deal with.

My hubby disagrees; and I have to take his opinions into consideration.

Ugh! Sorry to hear you have to visit the dentist. I abhor them.
Sounds like there is a lot to do at your house. I hope the car is easy to sell.

@celticeagle I had a horrible experience when I was little. Took me many years to get over it.

They ask me if I’ve been out of the country every time I go to the doctor. I always ask if Indiana counts.
Lunch was a chicken taco and the green chile rice, then two sore arms from tetanus and pneumonia vaccines. Dinner was the other taco, apples, fiber bar, and yogurt.

@LindaOHio — thank you. I sincerely hope and pray that’s the worst thing that happens to me this year.

Getting out and going to Olive Garden sounds like it will be fun.
I can't believe you're still without a landline.

@Marilynda1225 I still have a landline too. I refuse to use my cellphone, which is for emergencies, and to text those who won't answer their cellphone.

I always have a to-do list of everything that needs to be done. I love crossing things off.

Olive Garden is good. I have been thinking about going there for my birthday. The other thing is it is close to the mall, and that night they will be doing a grand illumination. It might be fun.

Best of luck to you getting is all done, I had made the pan-fried seasoned fries with kielbasa and tomatoes chunks and today I heated that and added shredded cheddar it was very good,

I prefer turkey sausage to kielbasa; but if it works for you, yay!

Gosh. Lots going on over there, but getting your other car roadworthy I think is a REALLY good idea. You may not like driving, but you NEED to be mobile. So, I am 100% on board with you getting to that point.
For dinner we made a marinated pork loin with stuffing and buttered mixed vegetables on the side. I got a REALLY good deal on this one. $4.19 for a "Manager's Special" at Schnucks. I have been buying these on sale for $5 a piece, so this was a steal and very delicious.

@LindaOHio We usually eat somewhere around 730pm. Some might consider that a bit late, but for us it's the norm.
