Happy Halloween (10/31) to those that celebrate it. Do you get any Trick or Treaters at your house; and do you pass out candy? We never get any at our house.
The first case of mpox (monkeypox) has been confirmed in the United Kingdom.
Bird flu has now been detected in swine. Does this mean that millions of pigs will now be slaughtered? The prices for pork will skyrocket.
Took my husband's 2nd cousin to Olive Garden for lunch. Had a coupon for a free appetizer and plenty of survey money to pay for the meal.
Breakfast - PB&J sandwich
Lunch - Olive Garden - Spinach artichoke dip, chicken Parmigiana and rigatoni, bread sticks, salad
Dessert/Snack - Olive Garden Tiramisu - I'd never had it before and won't order it again. I'm not a big fan of coffee in my desserts.
Dinner - Turkey/Swiss sandwich

@LindaOHio I only had a very good tiramisù in a couple of places, one it was a restaurant and another a luxury bakery store in Milano (Italy). Most of the time tiramisù is a mushy thing tasting too much of coffee.

We don't get any treaters here. There are mostly immigrants living here now and I don't think they celebrate it.
It's nice to eat out occasionally.
We had beans and cornbread lastnight. I always enjoy it.

Happy Halloween to you! The candy is waiting and I think we will take turns on the front porch handing it out so that we don't have to open the door--That will be less exciting and less stressful for our dog--It sounds like you had a good day. I am glad!

@LindaOHio He is doing well, thanks. Back to driving and basically doing all the things he used to do. He has a few more naps perhaps than he once did.

Greek salad for lunch..I had mac and cheese, corn and yogurt for din. I saw Olive Garden had a pumpkin butter cookie cheesecake on their dessert menu, if I go there for my bday I am going to get that. Actually, I might get it before then, if I go to the city next week. It sounds delish.

@LindaOHio My email is full of restaurants offering me a free dessert or appetizer for my bday. Sadly, Olive Garden isn't one of them, but I might not be on their birthday list.I should see if they have a sign up list for one.

My husband's cousin took the pumpkin cheesecake home for dessert. She said it was really good.

Since I was at the car dealership and the Logan’s Roadhouse across the street closed I was forced to eat a chicken sub at Subway. I had chicken dumplings soup from Progresso for dinner. And apples and yogurt and fiber bars!

I love Olive Garden but never had their Tiramisu cake. I just had Tiramisu cake from Sams Club and it was delicious. But, I do love coffee (as you know)
Glad you had the opportunity to get out and enjoy your meal at the Olive Garden.

Probably, and it is not cheap to begin with....just any way for prices to go up...
What...Tiramisu is delicious! but if you don't like coffee in dessert that makes sense.

I haven't had Tiramisu’ in ages!
Breakfast was a bananna
For Lunch I made a quesadilla

We had a pork stew for the whole day. My mom only cook one viand per day and that's for the whole day.
