New Cookies and Coughs

Last week I was playing tour guide, for some friends of my LA friend, who were in London for a couple of days. A very good day which included three pubs and a gin palace! We also visited some historic sites, a little off the beaten path. Karma decided to present a bill for my good time and I have come down with a heavy cold. I was a bit worried it was something else, but it is wearing off… slowly. I have been devoid of energy and just sitting around watching TV and drinking tea, whilst coughing and sneezing like a good ‘un. This is more than an inconvenience as that Gin Palace, The Viaduct Tavern, is having a Halloween bash and have opened up the compter cells to visitors, on which the place is built. Drat! On the subject of the picture. On my last shopping trip I found some new cookies. Normally I prefer the McVities digestive, but I like Galaxy chocolate, so we shall see how they fair in a taste test.
