How To Get Things Started

I'm sure you'll be able to relate about the things I am about to say. We normally have our set of things that we want to get over with. The fact of the matter is that we usually have the hard time finding the hard time to start doing things. We have the natural tendency to make alibis and resort to doing things that make us relieve stress first that we get from these things undone. This is indeed the hardest battle that we encounter almost on a daily basis. At least it is true to me. But what I do is that in order to get things done, I usually have a lot of things first done before starting the most important task. When I say important, these are the tasks that have deadlines to meet so that when you are not able to meet them before they are due, they will have consequences that will make you not only resent but usually regret in the end. Or worse case scenario make you suffer in the end. For instance, not being able to meet a deadline for your PhD assignment, will make you have a penalized mark. I will give you one concrete example. Today I feel the need to finish one of my assignments in my PhD because I may run out of time if I did not. This actually entails studying a lot. Not to mention, reading a lot of resources and processing all of them in my brain. In order to get started, I need to feel refreshed first. So, I had to eat my first meal first of course because of curse nourishment is very essential in order to make your brain do its job. Then, I felt like I needed to take a shower because I could already at least smell myself. I had to also wash my dishes. Then, I have to be doing laundry while I am studying. And when I was about to open my iPad to start studying, it ran out of battery. So, I am recharging it now. And while doing that here I am starting my discussion in myLot to make use of the time. After this, I am sure my iPad is ready and from there I can already start accomplishing what I needed. There are a lot in my mind right now.

Yes. Very true. Getting organized has the power to make you get things started and done. It is like working with your psychology.
