How do you refer to your fellow Mylotters to other people?

Some Mylotters do not go by their real first name, so if you refer to them, you have to use their username. I noticed after talking to a few Mylotters, one calls me Ambie, and one calls me Amber. I’m not sure what others do. I usually, although not always, use the person’s real name unless they indicated they don’t like that. What do you guys do?

A few lotters call me by my real name. And I do that when I know their names.

When you say other people I presume you mean other people on MyLot? I just copy their username and use that.

@Fleura I figure a lot of people don’t even mention Mylotters, but I know a lot of them do.

I meant more if I was telling my sister something about someone named AmbiePam on Mylot, but I knew her name was Amber, would I say Amber on Mylot, AmbiePam on Mylot, or some person on Mylot. Or if you were private messaging a Mylotter, would you say, Amber is a weirdo or AmbiePam is a weirdo. Stuff like that.

I've never really had to refer to anyone...and doubt anyone has to do that with me lol. So, never really thought of what to do. I'd use their real name I guess if I knew it!

@moffittjc is the person I interact with the most so gets talked about occasionally. My mentioning of mylot generally gets a "is that where the 'my name' s Jeff dude is from?" @DaddyEvil sometimes gets a mention as DE Or DaddyE Those two are most mentioned otherwise username in general if I remember it.

If it is in a discussion I tag you, with screen name. If it is in real live I usually just talk about my friend from myLot. If I am talking to Bob I likely say "Amber on myLot".

When I talk to my husband about someone or something online, I will say someone on ( insirt site) said this about that. I don't use names, because I can't know what's real, what's a username, or what that person's preferences are. If it's another member on mylot I'm talking abut, I try to tag them.

If their real name shows up, I might go for that one. Unless I'm tagging them, then I have to use their username. I assumed it was okay to go for the real name if they made it public.
