Full Moons on Halloween

A full moon occurring on Halloween is a special happening. It only happens about every 18-19 years. Due to its position our moon tonight will hardly be seen and will be a waning crescent. I like the mere crescent on this night better than a full one. It's more eerie. The moon was full, hitting its full moon phase on October 17th. It was also a supermoon, the largest this year. A full moon on Halloween won't happen again until 2039 with the last one being in 2020.

A full moon on Halloween would be extra fun .even better if it was a harvest moon.

I like a crescent moon better. Halloween and full moons don't seem to go together very well.

I think it makes it too lit up outside. It needs to be a bit darker. It's the ambiance and all. Atmosphere.

I like it bright with the stars up in the sky, it reminds me of my peaceful childhood, you know when its a Friday and Saturday night and you don't need to sleep early because there is no classes the next day, I love staring at them before sleeping.

it's just a random night for some people, so it doesn't really matter if it's crescent or full moon od october 31st.
still, i understand why it would be so cool that it happens on that night. i'm sure we'll have many wolf costumes for halloween 2039.
