I satisfied a craving this afternoon! Do you ever eat "fast food"?

I grabbed a Subway sandwich on my way home from my friend's guitar store today. I was feeling a little "giddy" and had a sense that I'd stop for something quick before heading to Guitar Center. I passed a Taco Bell. Didn't resonate. I passed a McDonald's. I don;t want to look like Trump when I'm old. Passed some snazzy cafes. Would take too long. Then I remembered that there's a Subway near my house. Wheee! I got a foot long. I'll describe what was in it later. Gotta hit the shower.

Subway? Their food is of the devil; with apologies to the devil (and to any Subway workers).

@TheHorse If you leave a Subway here, I kid you not, you smell. And smell badly. I have never figured it out, but I’m not kidding you.

I am truly not a fast food person. For the price it just isn't worth it to me. I can make way more food at home that tastes good, for less money, so I am content with that.

@MarieCoyle I agree. When they ask me which veggies I want, I just say "A little bit of everything. Extra peppers."

@TheHorse I just can't...once in a while, if I am traveling, I will make an exception, but not often. Usually somewhere that there are options of something not fried. I do think it's nice that Subway has the option(s) they do of things like fresh spinach leaves, tons of vegetables to put on sandwiches, and such. It's still not a favorite of mine, but a lot better choice than a burger rolled in grease, I think.

I was very much into Subway sandwiches at one time but there is nothing near me here, There are some fast food places like Burger King but I never have the additional money to spend for these,

I just had a foot long Subway club this past Wednesday. But I have no issue at all with fast food. I tend to get it at least three times a month. Sometimes more. The prices are terrible anymore, but I do find fast food to be a treat and there are few chains I dislike.

@porwest I know i asked @theHorse but do you use Subway coupons? my town gets a whole page a Subway coupons once a month in the mail some time when the weekly grocery store cell papers come on Tuesdays. They have some fantastic coupons! I told my sister the next time we go out and meal time will be involved i want to pack PB&Js and water and eat in her car. it is so much cheaper!

Subway is OK. That is the closest FF joint to this place. All those veggies have a lot of fiber so I don't think it is too unhealthy.

@snowy22315 I went by Subway on my way home, which i think is a decent restaurant and it was dinner time and there was not a single car in the parking lot. and they just sent a whole page of coupons which sell the food at excellent prices in the mail. I wouldn't buy food from them at regular price it is so expensive!

@TheHorse That is a reasonable price. here they are almost $12 + for a footlong. I keep going for most of the day on a footlong. Usually, i need a small snack sometime during the day i eat it

Ok...I got a bit confused ...friend's guitar store is different from Guitar Center I presume... Giddy? Blink.....why? Are you starving yourself? For what? Your limo? I am a foodie... I told you, I am a fat old hag now. LOL

@TheHorse Nah. I love Subway, but I need someone who can see to help me order. I need them to make sure my order is done right, and hoping to spare the workers extra work.

Jollibee and McDonalds are the biggest and most popular fastfood chain here in our country, we always buy snacks there. Actually they are open 24/7.

I have liked the veg options especially their foot longs . I have not tried their non-veg options, so not sure as well. In fact , while I was in US Subway footlong was my lunch. I found it good in taste , there was no issues with smell , the service was good although it gets busy around lunch time, so you need to make it quick to the store. I felt the food was decent in calories and good in nutritious value as well. McDonald and Tacobell are fast food. Once in a while, having food from there is all fine as long as you work out and do portion control. Hope you have a great day. Enjoy the weekend!
