First of the trick or treeeters came.

I never know from year to year if we'll get any trick or treaters, but apparently we did this year. About three or four, and I was prepared this time. I'd been craving thease Hershy chocolates, so I ordered a few bags of them. I just gave some to the kids that dropped by. When George and I go out, I'll have some handy in case more kids come up.

I have some candy available for just in case, but with all the Trunk or Treat things, we rarely get trick or treaters here.

Since I donated to the one Trunk or Treat thing, so I didn't have much here to give out, anyway. But we didn't have anyone, which as I said, is usually the case.

Nice to have something just in case. We have mostly immigrants living here now. I don't think any of them celebrate Halloween.

@kaylachan I live in a semi-rural area. Our street has houses far apart; and our front door is about 100 feet from the street. Kids don't bother with our street. They go to a development.

I miss Halloween. While I was in US, I was happy to treat children with candies. In India , we do not celebrate Halloween. I guess Europe is slowly starting to embrace Haloween. I too love Hersgy chocolates. I do recollect a few years ago , volunterring to test a few of their samples , before netering the Indian market. It was also good planning to be prepared this time for kids. Hope you had a fun time giving candies to the kids. Making the children happy is itself a kind gesture. Well, you and George have a great weekend!
