Where did October go? We didn't have any Trick or Treaters last night. Did you have any?
Denny's and Wendy's will be closing some of their under-performing locations.
There was a 6.0 magnitude earthquake off the southern shore of Oregon.
Coca-Cola and Pepsi have been sued by L.A. County for plastic pollution. The suit claims that they lied about the effectiveness of plastic recycling when, in fact, a vast majority of their products cannot be reused!!!!
Breakfast - None
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Stuffed shells, corn, Lima beans, applesauce
Dessert/Snack - Orange cranberry muffin
Dinner - Turkey/Swiss sandwich

I read that Denny’s is also going to allow some restaurants to NOT be open 24 hours. 
After that chicken sub I went back to REAL chicken — tacos!!! One for lunch, one for dinner, along with apples, fiber, yogurt, etc.

No trick or treaters for us. We left the porch light off as we usually do. We just never get many kids up our way on the block. We tried one year and wound up having to eat the candy ourselves, so we simply don't bother.
For dinner I had some chili leftover and decided to make chili enchiladas out of some of it. Very good repurposing and definitely good eats.

I am on the edge of town and never expect any. There was a trunk or treat downtown, and maybe some activity at the Senior housing, and there was free food and the Library had a haunted upstairs that ran until ten p.m. Our library is in a building that was a bank years ago and there is actually a kind of guard room where the bank guards would look out on the streets for trouble. I saw something like it on a Western the other day.

I don't think any were around for Halloween although I was listening for them. I had candy in case I saw some. Most probably went out on Saturday..the official day for this region.

We got about 30 trick or treaters but it was all over by 7:30pm. We just had grilled cheese sandwiches once we could sit and relax after the treats were all given out.

no trick or treaters here either. october did go by pretty fast.
yesterday - breakfast homemade tuna wrap, lunch homemade rice and chicken with mushroom sauce

for breakfast, I had: scrambled eggs and cheese, cereal, and cottage cheese
Lunch was a salad with mozzarella cheese and Italian dressing
Dinner was a noodle casserole I made. it has noodles, cream of chicken soup, and green beans. I also had 2 mozzarella cheese sticks I made on Wednesday which were super good
