Reached payout mark after 5.5 months!!

Finally, after 5.5 months I achieved my maiden payout in mylot and reached a total of 5.15. Although initially the focus (and still remains my primary focus) has been around building quality responses and discussions, last 2 months I did regret not able to reach the payout mark. Perhaps as a newcomer, it takes time to build and get a better payout rate.
Lessons learnt:
1. Quality content gets response
2. It takes time to build the response rates, followers and even the content quality
3. Sometimes, ideas for discussions could come from other responses /discussions.
4. It is better to respond to active discussions than digging ones in past.
There are still unanswered questions for me such as if payout rates increase due to a higher number associated with our name (sum total of responses, discussions and comments). However, I would definitely target to have a faster payout this time compared to last time.
Kindly do suggest if there are any suggestions that would help in increasing the payouts?

I am honored to see Alice responding to my discussion. It is a big encouragement for a newbie like me! Thank you for the clarification on pay rates. Thanks once again!

You are already doing something other new members sometimes forget: you answer other people’s discussions. Some members just answer their own discussions, and don’t bother going to other people’s. So that’s very good.
Your discussions are also very well thought out. But don’t be afraid to post just about your day either (which you may already do). You are a valuable member, and I greatly appreciate the effort you have put into this site.

Some people post a lot of new discussion but hardly interact.

I usually do not post about my work life as it may not be something most people can relate to as it is IT. I have always made a point to respond to other discussions and in fact, I could learn and udnerstand more through other discussions than from my ones. Thank you for the encouraging words !

Fun factor is what kept me going. If i focused on the money, I would have left the site long ago. Thanks for support!

5 months is normal for me. Well the last time I received a payout was 1 year back.

I always comment the responses to my posts. If someone andwers one of my posts and I don´t comment on her/his response, I feel I´m being rude. I´m an old lotter And although these last years we receive less money, I reached the minimum in a month before the end of the month. Do not post too much but relate to the people who answer your posts or post abour subjects that interest you. Welcome!

Thats a good suggestion - to post what people could related to. I too comment all responses to my discussions even if they were old. We should appreciate all comments. Thanks for your support!

I don't think there is any way to increase payouts OTHER than to simply increase your activity. Granted, a quality post and certainly a quality response may generate more interactions. But overall, the interaction is what matters the most when it comes to at least payouts.
I would say this; the site is mostly about just having fun with the payouts being simply an added bonus. If you focus on the fun factor more than anything and keep it fun, the payouts just sort of happen all by themselves.

Yess mylot should never be considered as a site where you can get a monthly salary from.

Yes- I will only keep the fun factor as my primary focus as by too focus on the money part , may not help me .By being superactive , it may ruin my responses and discussons. I will see if i can increase the amount of activity in the limited time I spent in mylot. Thanks for support as usual!

Greetings on your payout.
I think with a full main job and coming here just for the side income means that earning payout in these many months is quite fine.
The best way here is to keep engaged with responses amd comments and be regular.
There is no set formula.
Have a nice Sunday!

i don't have any suggestions except - interact as much as possible and you'll reach payout sooner than 5.5 months
