Today's shopping trip down town. (1/11/2024)

I went down town shopping this morning. It was dull and cloudy, but it did not rain on me. I went to the toilet by the Cathedral first, then I went and got some photos printed. The lady in the photo shop said, How can it be November already? And I said I don't know! After that I went to WH Smith to get an art magazine, but they didn't have the one that I wanted, so I came out without anything. Next I went to the newly refurbished Holland and Barrett. It looks really posh in there now, with a new counter desk and everything. I got 3 of the raspberry flavoured liquorice again, and used my 20% off voucher aswell as my Holland and Barrett club card. My Mum didn't need anything from the down town Tesco, so then I went straight to the Vodafone shop to ask why I can't vote for people on Strictly using my mobile, and he said it's probably because I've got a spending cap on my phone. He's given me a number to call Talk mobile, and said I should ask them to raise my spending cap, and hopefully that will sort it. After that I went to Iceland (the shop not the country) and I got some sweet and sour chicken for my Mum, and I got some Chinese Style Chicken curry aswell. They have got a new and improved recipe now after having been contaminated with peanut before. The product recall ones were with the sell by date of 24/4/2026 on it, the one I got today has 28/6/2026 on it. I also managed to get a bag of paella today. My Mum wanted some Tilda egg fried rice, but they didn't have any of that. I got 3 packets of sea bass for me and then I went to pay. I thought I'd worked it out to £18.50 but the lady charged me £17.50. Then I set off for home, via the toilet by the Cathedral. When I got home Syd was just bringing Mum back from the house group at Church. I gave my Mum her change and shopping list. Then I unpacked the groceries and put them away.
