Cleaning the place where you live is one of the best ways to maintain cleanliness, organize the space and boost the overall mood. A clean home is definitely a welcome one. By having an orderly environment, we reduce stress and avoid any buildup of clutter. It is a definitely a positive routine to have.
I am aware of residences, where cleaning is done on a daily or biweekly basis. I have often been surprised how people get time (the ones I am aware of do not have any domestic help of any sort) and whether they have a higher degree of cleanliness.
For me, I do it weekly and usually after breakfast. I could spend close to 2 hours and that should ideally serve for a minimum a week. I feel that is when I have energy and time to do such things.
I do have acquaintance who do in the late evening every wekend. They feel more relaxed after busy daytime schedules. Plus, they get a peaceful setting for bedtime. I often get lectured by them about the benefits of evening cleaning and the merits of waking up to a spotless home.
Do you have a best time to clean your home?

@RevivedWarrior I'd say our house is "lived in." I can't stand a completely clean house.

Well, that means it is mostly clean at all times and credit would be to your spouse. Thanks for sharing!

i do some cleaning everyday - like picking up the stuff and putting it in place, washing the dishes and putting them back in cabinets, or doing laundry and folding clothes if needed - i just do these things whenever.
but if we're talking vacuuming, wiping floors and everything else - that starts in the morning
