Do you like vegan food?

Well, sometimes you review wagyu jerky (a big yes), and sometimes you review vegan jerky. Do you like vegan food? I think you can make a nice vegetable plate with spices that are tremendous! But then, I’ve tried vegan cheese, and that didn’t go over well with my taste buds or stomach. So, what is the verdict on the vegan jerky? It’s a little tasty, actually. They sent me a bag, and I think I’ll probably eat it all. Plus, I hate to waste food.

I will try most foods, and have made veggie/vegan meals. I sometimes use meat substitutes to cut down on fat in some dishes. While I will make meals that just happen to only use vegan ingredients, I'm not a big fan of some vegan versions of meat flavour products. I really don't like the taste or texture of tofu.

i don't like vegan cheese or meat substitutes, I once had to eat a whole crustless keto ground beef taco pie that i used vegan ground beef (no, I am not keto- the recipe sounded good) because when I was preparing it I forgot to put in the taco seasoning. It was so horrible probably the worst meal i ever cooked. now I bring out everything I need before I cook! i don't like meat jerky so don't think i would try vegan jerky

I like vegetables, but not vegan food. Not things that pretend to be something else.

I like some vegan food that is well made. Maybe this month I will try to go to the vegetarian dinner (but not vegan I don't think)in Richmond that I think the de facto leader of the writing group goes to every month. Hopefully, I could hitch a ride with her.

I have never eaten vegan jerky. I ate pork sausages last night. I tend to mostly eat vegetarian because its better for my health plus I am not harming an animal. Five years ago I would not have eaten as much tofu as is common for me now. Tofu feels like solid protein in my stomach and for me that feels good. Nobody was harmed and there's protein in my gut: a win/win. Vegan cheese? Total blah city.

I too hate wasting food. In fact , the first lesson I ever learnt in life from my dad was never to waste food and consume eveyrthing that i have served onto the plate.I love vegetarian food. I have been a vegetarian for a long time . In India , for some it is religious and cultural thing. In my traditional culture , we have only vegetarian food on important days .Important days are New year , birthday , anniversary and so on. There are lot of recipes available for vegan food. The only trouble is spice level and the taste. Not everyone may like diary products such as milk and cheese. I have not tried vegan jerky. I need to check that out. Enjoy the weekend!

I firmly believe I could be a vegetarian, but I don’t think I could be vegan. I need the protein from milk and eggs, at least.

If I don't have to do vegan, then I won't . Processed vegan foods are often meh and kinda pricey. I can enjoy fresh vegan foods, but I know it would drive me nuts to cook that way everyday. I've never had the jerky but I think I did try some kind of vegan cheese - um, just no.

I like vegetables, beans, pasta, rice. I can cook "vegan" with fresh things, I dislike "vegan" imitations of cheese and meat.

I’ve never had vegan jerky. My son was a vegan when he was in his teens. I enjoyed some of the foods and meals.

I have not tasted vegan food. I cannot also eat like that all throughout. I am a carnivorous hehe. I feel weak if I cannot eat grilled beef , beef stew, or beef steak lol.

I am not a fan of jerky, so not sure if I would try this or not. I also think vegan cheese is truly terrible. I tried it twice and well, NO...it's not good.
