Fod trucks are not very common in the suburb I stay in but there is one that comes regularly to the park we sometimes go to. Last evening, I finally succumbed to the temptation when I saw it as we were in the park after ages. We had some momos and it was good. Do you have a food van or truck that you have used?

We have one in the town that does baked potatoes with various fillings. I think I have had food from there once or twice, but not for a long time. Although, the lady that runs that van did cater for my sister's 50th birthday party earlier this year. I used to use food vans more regularly when I worked in the city. There are lots of different ones right by my old office. Now, I work in my home town. I was thinking the last time I bought from a food van was at a reggae festival in the summer, but it was a stall not a van. I actually can't remember when I last bought anything from a van!

@pitstop they do catering as well as the van, and the owner also works at the venue where we held the party.

There is a whole bunch of them here. There is a area where four or five of them park every day.

We have food vans here from time to time. I forgot they were coming last Friday so I missed out on buying anything from them.

There are so many, I have lost track of them all. They park in the city in two places over lunchtime, and seem to have a good following, especially with the college students. We have every kind imaginable, Mexican, many for just burgers and fries, etc. there are a few pizza ones, some just do fish, there are a couple that specialize in hot dogs. Honestly, I don't use food trucks/vans. The food is not cheap, according to their posted menus, etc. Mixed reviews. I think they are more for convenience than anything else. There are a few locally owned restaurants that have food trucks they use and park other places. It just seems like everywhere we go, there are food trucks. As of yet, I am not tempted, and I don't anticipate using them.

@pitstop Yes, we have a wide variety. There is one that just does pies and cookies--little pies, for one person. There are a few serving Chinese food as well.
