There is virtual race between the top two internet and telecom service providers in India - Jio and Airtel. They both command a huge number of users and the reach of these two telecom services is quite huge. There is no doubt that each one wants to offer better and quicker service. These services would be offered directly through satellites making them more efficient. Only a company like Airtel can challenge Jio telecommunication when it comes to the telecom industry. And now Airtel has announced a new service called "Magic Bullet". This will offer speedy internet services in far away areas where it is not possible to have traditional mobile towers. How is the internet connectivity in your area? Are you satisfied with the way you get your connectivity? How about your YouTube videos buffering and what is your general experience?
Bharti Airtel chairman Sunil Mittal has termed the satellite internet as ‘magic bullet’ and stated that his company is waiting for the government approval, ensuring that he will not leave a corner of the country without internet access.

Yes I too think the same. The name itself sounds quite exciting - magic Bullet. Feels like there is all speed and faster internet. No buffering and no lagging...

@jstory07 Definitely that would be great. But I think the speed in the US is already much better than what we have here in India. At least I have heard so. Is that true?

I also had a combination of Airtel and BSNL in my phone. There was hardly any problem when it came to connectivity issues. Both these service providers gave me sufficient service, or I would say, I didn't have any problem, be it internet connectivity or phone calls. So as far as today, I am okay with everything that's coming my way

As I said in response to @jstory07, the connectivity speed in the US is definitely way too good than what we have here. Of course, this is my personal experience. And the speed can vary from region to region. I have used both 4G and 5G connectivity and checked the speed. Yes the 5G speed is definitely better than the earlier version. But if you were to evaluate them at the ground level, 4G doesn't buffer, no question about 5G. I mean to say there is hardly any difference when it comes to ground level experience, be it using even heavy videos.

Over the past 2 years, network connectivity of Jio, Airtel and Vodafone have improved drastically. Even mobile data works well in most rural areas with atleast 2G speed if not 3G. I have personally witnessed the same while travelling across South of India. Coming back to the telecom wars and battles , all telecom service providers have come under pressure once Jio came into picture. They had to introduce the outgoing free call system once Jio came in as Jio introduced the same. Plus , the big money is now on the data consumption and value added services. We are using more data than ever in history. The average consumption of data in households is roughly 1 GB to 10 GB. So Airtel needs to step the game to get more consumers else Jio would go on to capture new consumers. I am happy with my internet connectivity. I do use Jio, Airtel and Vodafone , hence commented on same.
