The plight of the adopted baby

The maid who was working for us had to leave as she has adopted a baby who is now 2 years old. The situation in her house is pathetic as she herself does not keep good health and her husband has health issues as well that has resulted in poor financial condition. They live in a place that has no toilet inside the house and have just one room. Many rich childless couples are looking for adoption but are finding it difficult to get one I really do not know how they managed to get this child. If only this child got adopted by someone rich her future would have been far better. I feel sorry for the cfhild

Maybe the child gets lots of love from the family.

May be but she should be given a good future. If she was adopted by a rich couple she would have got both

@allknowing Maybe, but it is certainly not guaranteed that having rich parents will give a child a happy life.

@Fleura This couple is not educated and nor do they have a house of their own and no money at all. Utter poverty I think they got this child illegelly as no adoption centre will give away children to homes with that kind of a situation.

What the couple thinks is by giving her toys and a bit of this and that her future is done

That is sad. I want everyone who is capable to have a child, but only if is good for the child and even the parents. I don’t think in the U.S. this couple would have been allowed to adopt. My sister and brother-in-law went through a vigorous process to adopt.

Poor child, I wonder if they went through "formal adoption" or if they got the child from someone. I know it's hard to obtain the authorisation to adopt a child.

Why would they adopt another child when they know they have many problems? Or maybe the child comes from a family member?

They got it from an adoption centre.

@rakski That is exactly my queston too. They are fond of that child but love is not enough to live comfortably in this world.

May be she will get love but she should also be given a good future which does not seem the case

That is difficult but if children are loved and cared for they can thrive even in a deprived environment. I just hope the parents stay healthy.

That is when kids have no choice but this kid had choices as there are many childless well to do couples who are on the look out to adopt babies. This kid is unlucky.

I feel sorry for the child as well. Unfortunately, the child is bound to face a lot of suffering.
