Hope today brings you joy and tranquility!

Why how very thoughtful of you! I'm going to assume this message, purporting to be from the United States Postal Service, in all actuality originated in South Asia. My mind 'reads' the final sentence of the message in an accent from that general area. Just received this message early Sunday morning (today) and I wonder how people fall for this stuff. To me it is so obvious that it is spam. But then I remember that a hard majority of people simply do not have an analytical mind. Oh well...

I receive a couple of those messages every day, how could US Postal Service need my address to deliver me HERE in Switzerland!?

And yet, people actually fall for this scheme. Unbelievable.

They don't contact you by email. They usually leave a note in the mailbox. SPAM!!! Have a good day.

My mailbox is locked. Only two people use a key to get into it--me, and the postman. I get emails like the one he posted, or similar ones, a lot. I just ignore them and don't even open them, I just trash them all.

As someone who worked at the USPS for eight years, I can guarantee you that they don’t give a flying frackola WHAT kind of day you have.

I'm jealous. I only got one from UPS, that says I have a package that they tried to deliver and need my confirmation to do so. I didn't get the joy and tranquility message. Since I have nothing ordered and they do send that at least once a week, I am not worried that I am missing anything...and yes, people fall for this stuff all the time.

I’ve gotten that quite a few times. I always wondered who fell for it.

Well, I hope for joy and tranquility, too. Will we get it? I can think of one thing that would bring joy to a lot of people but it definitely would not bring tranquility to anyone.
