I am glad I found an extra shoelace. I have a pair of sneakers with flowers on that I really like but haven't worn too often. I want to start wearing them more though. However, I noticed when I pulled them out of the closest they had been Nicoed!! Bad kitty..Strings are one of the things he likes to chew on along with socks, thin blankets and sometimes clothing and or toys..Bad kitty!

Nico is a sweetheart! Cats can't be anything but cute!
all six of my dining chairs have most of the foam coming out of them. the couch and recliner in the living room have scratches on them. My Onyx scratches them constantly and won't stop! My goal in life is to make Onyx happy even though he doesn't feel that way back!

They are bad with that chair scratching stuff. But fortunately the only thing he scratches in that regard is the cover on the chair.

@LovesEverybody It is normally younger cats that do that kind of thing. Also, it depends on whether or not Onyx is a climber. Nico is not big on climbing or jumping. I have blinds but what he has done is chew the strings. I have to have them tied up..so he doesn't chew them.

@snowy22315 we had the chairs a couple of days before I adopted Onyx. so I am used to it.
My sister wanted to put up curtains for me. but a friend mentioned in passing cats climbing the curtains or ripping them. so we are rethinking curtains as I can certainly picture him climbing to the curtain rod as he loves to be up high

Does Gevi do that too? I had a dog once that went after shoes bigtime. He ate the backs of all my good shoes.

@snowy22315 - Gevi likes to chew the corners of the towels. The dog of my niece loved to chew shoes.

@snowy22315 he sounds very entertaining. I've had cats in the past and they all had different personalities. Some were mellow and others mischief makers.

@Marilynda1225 I would prefer he unroll toilet paper rather than chew on things I don't want him to. The robe I have one has a cat hole in it. He was slinking around some water he spilled out of his water bowl..acting like it was toxic this morning. It was pretty comical.

This is the first cat I ever had who chewed contraband I think he has what they call a psychogeni eating disorder, or he is just plain bi polar. Apparently some tuxes are.
