I Hope We're All Taking Notes

I have been warning about the possibility of WWIII being very real, but it seems what's more on the minds of some people, and we know who they are, are more concerned that Johnny can wear a dress and pee in the girl's room while playing volleyball on the girl's team. What a brilliant way to get into the girl's showers and get away with it. Boy, if I could have done this in high school back in the day, this would have been right up my alley. Back then they'd have chased me out and probably expelled me. But have you heard North Korea is going to be sending massive troops to help Russia defeat Ukraine? Folks, this is how world wars start. Countries start teaming up and all going after each other and helping each other. North Korea, Russia and Ukraine. Israel, Palestine and Iran. Russian fighter jets playing around in Japanese airspace. China is also buddying up with Russia. We've had China teasing more strongly the prospect of hitting Taiwan. Things are heating up, and I am telling you, what they are watching is this upcoming election. They KNOW there's no leadership at the top now from the United States, and I think they are confident that lack of leadership will continue with Harris/Walz. It's coming. If we don't get this right $4 eggs will be the least of our worries.

@porwest It is a real thing to think about. I hope it's not just on our minds. It matters -----------------You're right for once. It does matter. That's why it's so important to elect Kamala.

I am worried that the news don´t talk about problems that should be more important. I know that we should worry about the accident at the highway on weekends. But meanwhile nothing is said about what you just said about North Korea, Russia, China and the massacre in Palestine.

The media is hyper focused on propaganda anymore, so getting the news honestly and factually, or getting what's important is much harder these days. I should note that now Chechnya may send 80,000 troops to assist Russia as well, so things are heating up. Before you know it, it could be three against one with regard to Russia and Ukraine. And keep in mind China, North Korea and Russia are all allies with Iran, and Iran and Israel as well as Palestine are all at war. China is also eyeballing getting tougher with Taiwan. At what point will western allied nations have to step in? And when we do, when we have the United States, Russia, Ukraine, North Korea, Chechnya, Israel, Palestine, Iran, Germany, the United Kingdom, Japan and other nations all in war arenas? We have Word War III.

@porwest It seems to me that few of us care about this such important news The news on TV spend a lot of time talking about celebrities and the like and nothing is said about that.

@marguicha Even here, there is very little coverage about these wars currently going on. It needs to be aired. We need leadership. Because WWIII is a very real threat all of us ought to be concerned about.

It seems to go hand in hand with over population, too many people led by too few that care about our precious planet. With all the tech advances I've seen since 1973 when Vietnam ended makes me think many of the weapons those fools will be using will put an end to all.

Yeah and on the other side is a bimbo willing to throw us under the bus, we need someone who knows how to do whats right for our country as well as our planet, if Sitting Bull were alive today I'd vote for him.

That is the big fear of Trump being elected. He simply does not care about anyone but himself and he can be bribed with trinkets. That's why all the dictators love him so much.

@rebelann The biggest fear is how many of our enemies lack a conscience. I'd not put it past Putin or even North Korea to use nuclear weapons without a second thought. We live in very scary times.

I guess the North Koreans want to send their troops into the meat grinder alongside the Russians. The North Koreans can’t feed their people, so the more they send to die in Ukraine, the less they have to feed back home.

In many ways, this is probably true. By the way, did you hear now the Chechens might send 80,000 troops to aid Russia? This is getting nastier by the minute.

@LindaOHio This is true. But that's why it is important to have leadership at the top here. Countries respond to strength even when they don't have good intentions. As soon as Trump was confirmed as the winner, look at what Iran did almost immediately. They would not have done that if Harris had been elected.

The problem is that they do not operate morally. They simply want domination and to win, and they HATE the west. It's a problem. Chechnya has now said they may send 80,000 troops to aid Russia. So, now we may have Russia, North Korea and Chechnya against Ukraine? This is heating up. Next, who might assist Iran against Israel? China, Iran, North Korea and Russia are all allies of Iran.

he possibility of WWIII is real and has been since August, 1945. The current state of affairs is not new or startling. What is new and startling is there's a chance that a total moron could be in charge of the most powerful military on Earth. That is the scary part.

Of COURSE the threat of WWIII has always been there. BUT, there has always been a marked coalition with the United States AND effective enough leadership at the top that it was at least deterred on some level. Putin specifically saw the state of our leadership and took it as an opportunity to strike Ukraine, and he did. When the world knows that the world's top leader is incapacitated and the potential successor can't put a sentence together and has made a mockery of the United States on the world stage... If they ever wanted their opportunity, it has practically been hand delivered. If Kamala wins, that delivery will be completed. The world remained mostly quiet during Trump's first four years since Trump was clear that he would defend American interests at any cost. Remember the MOAB he sent to send a message? It was heeded. Other leaders paid attention and stood down.

"It's coming." So's Christmas... Sorry, couldn't resist. I think the only time the showers were used in the girls' changing room in my high school was when a visiting boys' basketball team used them. That's right. We girls were kicked out of our own washroom when there was an intramural (boys') basketball game. Of course, if there was a visiting girls' team, we had to share.

So we should elect the guy who said he would encourage Putin to invade countries and idolizes Hitler? Doesn't seem like a good idea to me. Trump is promising to keep us out of WWII. He is weak, spineless and stupid. Not a good choice. But I do hope all his supporters vote on Jan 5 like he told them to. #They'reEatingTheDogs! #Project 2025

We have to keep in mind who is at war right now. Russia, Ukraine (and soon North Korea), and the Chechnyans may send 80,000 troops to aid Russia, so you can soon add them to the list. Then there's Iran, Israel and Palestine. At what point does the west decide to step in? Then you might have Germany, the US, the UK all in it. Probably others too. Does China step in to aid Russia and Iran? We could have a real mess on our hands if we don't get leadership at the top here. And if Russia suddenly aims for Poland, the west has no choice but to retaliate. Same goes if Russia and China step in to help Iran.

@porwest When planes start flying overhead and bombs start falling, do you really want to be so ignorant to think none of this matters? ------Do you know even the first thing about modern warfare? No one will use planes. All bombing will be done with missiles. This is why you shouldn't vote. You are dangerously misinformed about everything. You think the guy who won't even read the daily security briefs is going to save us. He's a joke and so are you for as long as you support him.

What you are saying, first of all, makes no sense, and the fact that you dismiss the significance of this says a LOT about your concern for the world and the country. If we actually see WWIII, the United States will become a direct target and your comfortable little corner of life will never be the same. Don't be an idiot. When planes start flying overhead and bombs start falling, do you really want to be so ignorant to think none of this matters? Go talk to the people in the UK who had their lives shattered during WWII, sifting through the rubble of bombed cities destroyed by enemies no one thought would ever come knocking on their doors. As Americans we have been WAY too lucky, become WAY too complacent, and have this ridiculous idea that NO ONE will EVER attack us. It is the VERY reason we ARE a strong target, and through the years we have weakened ourselves SO MUCH as a people, that any defeat we face might be absolute. Do you think you could survive on your own if there is no infrastructure? No power? If going to the grocery store is almost impossible? If our cities are bombed, can you survive it? Can most Americans?

Aircraft carriers are still THE most important force in the naval fleet. They carry fighter jets. Don't be an idiot.

Things are heating up and not in a good way and we may have a big problem on our hands if we are not careful. At some point there will be no choice but for nations like Germany, the United States and the UK to step in. -------The last thing we need is a leader who is concerned only with crowd sizes and dog eating.
