It saddens and frustrates me to read these people's responses to other posts. They come off like Trump is the powerhouse and Harris is something horrible. The gaslighting that has gone on during this campaign is the worst I have seen. People really believe that Trump is out to help this country and that he loves it. It couldn't be farther from the truth and is sad that he has done such a good job of gaslighting what might be otherwise intelligent people. Don't they know the truth about the border situation? Trump called his Republican cronies and got them to stop the law that was trying to be put through for more border agents and one that would help the border situation immensely. I am appalled to see where they blame Harris(and/or Biden) for that. And, the gaslit folk seem to think that the high prices are all Harris' and Biden's fault when there are many reasons. One big one is the fact that some stores across the nation are price gouging and this is something Harris wants to stop when she gets into office. The other thing is the immigrants. They aren't all murderous illegals. I do hope the gaslit folk get smart before it's too late Anyone gaslit or not after seeing the fear-mongering and hate that spewed from the MSG rally and still wants Trump in office is just downright idiotic. It was so vulgar and evil. All Trump wants to do is get into power and make a dictatorship out of our government. I hope that after the election, we see that there were many smart people out there who saw Trump for who he really is. He is a narcissistic, misogynistic, lying, racist who has proven these traits more than once. We will see after the election if the people want a democracy or a dictatorship. We still have a democracy and I hope we can keep it. Or, as Trump has promised we will have a dictatorship on day one. That could very well mean we would never have the right to vote again. Don't you want to continue to have rights?

Harris would be better. Trump wants to be a dictator. And that is wrong.

I am still scratching my head around almost half of US voters voting for him twice.

Twice? I certainly hope not. I hope that the different areas have an eagle eye out for such things.

@celticeagle He lost the popular vote by something like 2 million in 2016. And only 9 million in 2020. Hopefully things won't be so close this time around.

If you knew anything about how our govornment works, no president has absoult power. They don't have the ability to make laws or change anything just because they want to. Sure, he could vito a bill, but he can't just write a bill and make it a law. Price gouging in some stores has been an ongoing thing. It's happened before Trump went into office, and has continued after. It's only now, some people are taking notice. This election has been the ugglest I have ever seen. And, if Trump loses, he'll just try again in four years. The way you pump up Haris and make her out like roses is just as bad as saying Americans are being gaslit by Trump.

ANd that is what Trump wants. Absolute power. That's what I am trying to tell you. He wants to change the way the government works so he has complete power.

@kaylachan .......I know that is not how the country works. He wants to change it all. I haven't forgotten my history. Has he? He wants to do away with it all and do it his way. Whether he really can do much or not it is going to cause a lot of disruption and mayhem. He should be allowed to do things he will try. We don't need any more confusion than there already is in our government.

I was raised with books and the idea that to be decent to another individual was the only way to be. I am horrified to see the rise of mockery and bullying as a sane response.

I agree. And Trump enjoys violence. I hope Harris wins and we get back to some normal decent behavior.
