Radio in the car

I usually listen to the radio in the car, even on long drives, unless I can't access any good radio station. I usually listen to a station that has good clean music and some talk. I'm surprised at the amount of vulgarity and bad language in some of the stations. As we have kids and we're not a fan of bad language, we're very selective in choosing the stations we listen to. Here in Adelaide, we usually have LifeFM playing - they play a lot of positive and christian music and their talks and chatter are very friendly. What do you listen to in the car.

The radio, mpstly. Every so often I might listen to music on Apple music through car play. But, it's rare. Here in the U.S. we're pretty good about only putting clean music on air annouingly so. To where words are cut out of songs, or whole sections are just missing. I get you want clean musc, but don't edit it. Just don't play it.

The crude songs are played late at night or edited here too. The chatter is sometimes not appropriate though.

@pitstop I've only heard heavily edited songs on the raido no matter when I was listening. But yeah some people don't have a filter here, either.

I usually listen to music from the era of the 1970s to the 1990s which is a mixture of pop and rock hit songs.

We don’t get vulgar language and indecent talk on our radio stations in Oklahoma. I listen to a country station or a Christian station, but it’s always clean. I’d be disappointed to live in an area with bad language and vulgarity. I’ll leave that to New York or California.

I guess the bigger the city, the more variety there is. It's not all vulgar or obscene, just the occasional references and chatter that can be annoying.

if i'm with someone, i like talking to the person more but if i'm on my own, then some relaxing music, on lower volume that doesn't risk my driving skills

Mostly FM Radio while driving. Would traverse throug the stations and choose one which I feel comfortable for the moment. Sometimes it could be songs , music or perhaps talk. However, prefer melodious songs especially while driving through heavy traffic. Listening to talks while it is clear road , so that mind can listen a bit more attentively. As usual , like postive talks and good music. Yet to hear any vulgarity over the radio while driving. Perhaps, it is more regulated in India. Good to know about your interests and experience listening with Adelaide music stations . You have a great day ahead!
