Elon and Trump

I've watched a lot of interviews in the last couple days and weeks with both Elon Musk and Donald Trump being interviewed. If you pay attention to mainstream media, then you are well aware that the to of them have struck up a friendship of sorts.
They are both equally hated, especially since they have plans with each other in the future. Plans that I am interested in seeing how the turn out.
After watching the interviews with them, I have come to the conclusion that one of the reasons that people hate the pair of them so much is that they have no filters. Both of them speak exactly how they feel. They aren't holding anything back, they aren't trying to fit into a mold of who a billionaire or a president should look like. Something that I appreciate. I think it's one of the best things Trump does, he speaks his mind. He doesn't care what anyone thinks about him.
I think those who don't like one or the other or both of them dislike the most about them is exactly that. They want to be hand fed the garbage and told that everything is going to be okay. When if it continues the way it is. It isn't. It very much isn't. I'll gladly let peoples feelings get hurt if our country gets pulled out of the hole the Democrats have put it in while telling people that everything's going to be okay.

I'm with you on that, people don't want the truth but rather hear the lies
which makes no sense to me, Trump has proven he has what it takes
to turn things around & by the grace of god almighty he'll do it again
if he gets the chance to get back in the white house this time.

@RebeccasFarm Trump is the only one that has done GOOD things, and made GOOD on things he's promised in an tangible way as far as I see it, in the last probably 15 years.

It is always funny to me that for decades everyone always wished for someone in the White House who would just tell it like it is and not speak like a politician, and as soon as we got that suddenly people wanted someone who kept quiet and just maintained the status quo.
Beyond that, I don't think THE PEOPLE fear Trump. That's what the media wants us to believe. The ESTABLISHMENT fears Trump. Because what Trump wants to do and CAN do is give the government back to the People, and that terrifies the establishment because if that happens, the power they have enjoyed for decades and decades will be lost.
THAT is the issue for them with Trump. He will return power back to the people.

We've talked about this before, and you and I are pretty much on the same page as far as politics go

Even when the election is over, whoever loses is going to complain about it for at least the rest of this year.

Yeah, a match made in heaven.
I don't think Musk's endorsement makes much of a difference unless it changed the mind of a few skeptics. As you said, they're very alike and those who support one usually support the other too.
