This is what happens when you deal with Fake/knock offs!

Over the weekend, I had a 8 hour drive . By the time I reached destination , I was bit tired. I did not stop for food and hence decided to check out the restaurants. I noticed a restaurant which had recently opened and serving my area. They promised delivery in 10 minutes where a complete knockoff of Subway. Inspired by our mylotter Horse ( He had a discussion on subway last week) , I decided to give this knock off restaurant a try. My mind though warned me of trying a new restaurant and that too a knockoff. Well, got my 3 subs from the knockoff. As I tried the first sub , it was obvious the food was just average and the bread was pathetic. Since I did not want to throw away the food , I had them .It took me 4 hours to have those 3 subs! Frustrated by the whole ordeal, I ordered 3 subs today from subway. It was much better and had them in one go! My lessons : 1. Never buy or even eat from knock off/bogus . 2. Never try something new when you are absolutely tired. It has a higher probability to go wrong Did you ever had such experience with fake/bogus /knock off restaurants or products?

Not from knock offs but yes when these restaurants try their hands on fastfood like gupchup or pampdi chat, I get really disappointed in them!!

@Dreamerby Yeah they keep adding curd to pampdi chat and it is not how it should be made! My mood was so ruined! I love pampdi chat, I can eat 3 plates of it!

Yeah fast food is meant to be tried on the streets.

I agree on that! I would only to a chat specialized person for chat. Most of them just prepare chats without knowing how to prepare one or how to combine the ingredients. Thanks for sharing!

Actually, no. I've eaten from a number of places and am open to trying something new knowing full-well I may not like it. When you're hungry and tired, it can affect the perception of what you're eating. So you should be willing to try something more than once.

Well, I am open to try new restaurants and food. It is just that I did not notice some of the red flags properly. Thanks for sharing!

I have had a few bad experiences eating fried chicken from a restaurant that sold fried chicken that was a knockoff of Kentucky Fried Chicken which made me sick to my stomach.

I understand what you went through. Most of the knockoffs make our stomach cranky. Thats a bad experience. Thanks for sharing the experience!
