Do you edit typos in MyLot posts when you catch them?

I am a decent speller. But not a good speller. I also have eyes that are failing in my dotage. To compound the issue, I have words that I simply cannot remember how to spell, like "restaurant" and "kumquat." Plus my keyboard is old, archaelogically (sic) old, so I often misspell things. Yep, I edit typos when I catch them. But I sometimes fail to catch them. How about you?

I try not to. I did just catch a typo: somebody said that Trump is a Republican. I disagree. He just says that to get himself into power. Total typo.

Most of the time I don't catch my typos until after I've posted something and my computer reads the post back. I find it a pain to edit so most of the time I just don't bother.

Do you use voice technology? AI has a way to go.

I hate typos so if I find them in anything I write, even if it’s not recent, I will edit if that option is available.

Yeppers. I do too. I call it "selective OCD."

I do when I am on the laptop, unless I'm just in a bad mood. If I am myLotting from my phone it usually corrects most of them. Sometimes I do voice to text, and it doesn't pick up on them. So sometimes those slide.

I never do voice. I don't think I'd know how.

@TheHorse On my phone I do. It's easier. I just got a microphone and I might try to use it on my laptop.

Don't feel bad, I do the same thing myself, I use a online keyboard it spells the words I'm looking for so it helps with misspelled words.

There is never a day when I do not notice them. It is odd that when I post something everything seems fine. It is only when I get back to comment I see them glaring at me and ofcourse I edit them

yes, I do edit them when I catch them too but it is not always that I can see the typos and to think my keyboard is not that old. So it must be me?

ometimes I just laugh at my typos in MyLot... Usually because I type without wearing glasses.... Just let it go, maybe because age doesn't want to compromise.

Turn on spell check, that will help some. The reason I say ''some'' is often it doesn't seem to catch things. It sometimes gives you a word you didn't type in place of another...that sounds similar, or the same. Our and are, pen and pin, too and two and to, and such. I try to read my posts before I post them, but I miss stuff. Plus, if I am using my phone, that screen isn't that big, and I really do miss things.
