What would be better 5G or D2D Technology?

The Indian government-owned BSNL has found a breakthrough even before the telecom giants like jio and Airtel. Yes, both Jio and Airtel are currently offering 5G services in India. But neither of them have the D2D technology. And it's a bit surprising that the government has its hands on the technology even before the private sector. The D2D is Direct-to-Direct technology. This will allow the users to place both audio and video calls even without a SIM card. Isn't that interesting! Is this kind of service available in your country? And if it is, would you prefer 5G or D2D?

You and @anya12adwi have had exactly the same response. What a coincidence it is! It's a new technology being employed by the Government of India.

I'm not a BSNL user. So it's out of question to use the service. Moreover, they are starting the service on a trial basis only. So I think only a handful of people might get to use that to start with.

I don't even know what D2D is! It sounds like my form name in school! (In my second year at senior school I was in 2D2!)
