Today's trip to the little Tesco. (5/11/2024)

I've just been to the little Tesco again. It's dull and cloudy out today, but it's not raining. I wore my big grey coat without the hood. My Mum gave me her shopping list, club card and TV magazine voucher, and she gave me £45 in cash! I thought it's not going to cost that much! Anyway I set off. You know, I cross more roads going to the little Tesco than I do going down town?! I crossed the crossing and went into the shop. My Mum wanted some baking paper, and at first I didn't think I was going to be able to get any. I saw some kitchen foil and some cling film, but I couldn't see any baking paper. Then I saw it on the shelf above! So I got that. Then I went and got the TV magazines as usual. Then I went to get some cakes for my Mum and Syd from the fresh bakery section, and I got some chocolate croissants again. Syd wanted a bounty bar today, so I got one of those. Looks like he's got fed up of the snickers already! My Mum wanted some cream crackers. I thought I was going to have to search for them, but there they were jumping out at me from the shelf! So I got those. Then it was off to get some strawberries. They all had 5 Nov use by date on, so they were reduced. Then my Mum wanted some Alpen cereal with no added sugar, so I got that. I treated myself to another little white A5 notebook, then I went and got 2 bottles of milk. Then I went to pay. It cost just over £19! Then off I went home. When I got home I took my coat, and shoes and socks off first, then I gave my Mum her change, shopping list, club card and TV magazine voucher. My Mum was pleasantly surprised by how much change she had! I unpacked the groceries and put them away, and then I went to the toilet again! I always seem to be going to the toilet! It must be my age! Now I am watching Homes Under the Hammer again! What are you lot getting up to today? I hope you are all well. Have a nice day.
