Portugal ruled Goa in India for more than 200 years. There was a tradition of colouring the houses every year when Portugal was in power. In some places in Panjim the capital city of Goa like Fontaina or Fountain these coloured houses are there. They look bright and colourful and have flavour of Portugal.
