It is official. America made a choice to give Trump a second chance – Trump 2.0 as some mention. He becomes the oldest person to be elected president and also the second president in US history to become a president after becoming an ex-president.
I am no political analyst or neither an American ( I have lived in US for almost an year plus). However, I thought of sharing some analysis from today’s US election results
1. Trump had ideas or points for how to uplift the US economy and what policies to do. Unfortunately, Kamala either did not have ideas/could not communicate that properly to people.
2. Trump was prepared ever since he left office in 2020. In spite of the court cases and other challenges, he was ready to go for the nomination. He became the epitome of determination and courage. Unfortunately, his opposition was in complete disarray and Kamal Harris had to take the nomination half way through and she had no time to prepare!
3. Similar to above, everyone would agree it was Trump’s election to lose. He had accomplishments to speak about and was not basking on other factors. Unfortunately, his opposition candidate did not have that advantage.
4. Kamala refusing interviews at first did a big damage. When she started giving interviews as part of damage control, unfortunately it worsened things!
5. Trump was able to connect with the working class and spoke about issues like wages and immigration. He got a better connect with the working class!
6. Minority card cannot win elections, its policies and connect which will. At least Trump proved that point today.
So , what do you believe are the key takeaways other than above points from today’s US Election Results?

I think a lot of people forget, that while Trump was in the rich one percent, He was a business owner. He was the working class. He had a hand in employing imigrents so of course he knew their struggles. He might have caused them when laying people off. He's had to make hard choices and grow his businesses.
It's a fact a lot of people chose to forget.

I think that most US voters preferred straight even if brute talk to refined and polished approach.

Very true. Trump is comfortable with the working-class because he spent a lot of time dealing with blue collar construction workers as a builder and businessman. He listens to them and is not a pompous elitist.

@dgobucks226 No. He's not. And, a lot of those blue-collar construction workers are imigrents. Most of the dirty jobs go to non-citizians. Not to say that natural-born americans can't work in construction. But, the majority of those I've worked with are spanish-speaking. And we have a lot of cities that are more culturally diverse then Daytona is. You have to work with all types if you want a successful company.

Well covered.
Plus :
Part impact of sympathy card.
Late switch from Joe Biden to Kamala Harris.
Many economic factors plus a likely disenchantment among many for the way US dollars are going for Ukraine's war with Russia.
However he has two big international conflicts to deal with.
Both very complex and tricky.

Trump will make both sides come to an agreement. He is a peacemaker! There were no major conflicts in his first term.

I think you covered them pretty well, actually. Trump simply addressed the issues of most concern to the American people, and people remembered the first four years with Trump, the last four with Biden that Harris would have simply continued and said, "Nope. Time to go back. This isn't working."

Good analysis! I agree with most of your points.
Even if Kamala had more time, she would not have any answers for the terrible state our country was in. Don't forget, Harris said she was part of every major terrible decision made by the Biden administration and would change nothing. What message could she offer but the same failed policies. Kamala had no vision to take America forward. You cannot put up a diversity candidate with no accomplishments and expect people to vote for her just because she is black.
Harris was a terrible candidate pure and simple.
