It has been a long daycouple of days (s) I woke up at 7 p.m yesterday and was unable to go back to sleep. I have had two or so hours of sleep the last few nights.
I am happy to say I fell asleep this afternoon a little after 2 p.m. and slept until 3 p.m. I slept about an hour
I am signing off my computer now at a little after 4:30 p.m. and reading for a little while so that I can relax so hopefully a restful sleep comes my way.
I just need that relaxing reading time tonight so I can fall asleep and stay asleep.
I am getting too old in my early 50s to be able to be up so many hours in a row. I was easily able to be up 24 - 48 hours in a row in my 20s and 30s
What time do you go to bed?
Good night myLot! Hope everybody has a good sleep tonight!

Do you feel refreshed after your sleep?
Yes, it is another day and I am excited because I slept well!
I slept very well, but that was only after i went to bed, woke up, ate breakfast, fed my cat and then I was still so tired I went back to bed! Now i feel great!
Have a super day and don't forget to smile!

Whenever I want to. That's when I go to bed. More recently when my 63-year-old husband does.

@kaylachan I understand most people can't go to bed that early. But I take a lot of prescription medicine which equals 14 pills daily and all strong ones. I need to get to sleep by 7 p.m. but I can't stay sleeping.
i am trying something different tonight I figure since i had so much sleep last night, and i don't have to go anyplace tomorrow I will try staying awake longer.
My mom used to go to bed at 4 a.m. and sleep until at least 3 p.m.,

@LovesEverybody That's much how I am too. I sleep from 10pm to midnight then lay awake for ages.

@JudyEv i have spent so many years like that. I slept for a while then went back to sleep and slept until 7:12 a.m. today and feel a little bit better today. Though i think i need to catch up on a lot of sleep to feel better.

I go to bed by 11 and wake up around 6 in the morning. I am trying to improve that sleep cycle by going to bed little early and waking up little early. So far it has not worked in the way I wanted. I can put at max 20 hours without sleep. I do not usually have power naps . Just one good sleep at night. I have nap in case I am extremely tired or sick. I like to be active during daytime and then have a good sleep at night. I too like reading or listening before going to bed. It accelerates the tendency to get into the sleep mode. Good to understand your routine. Well have a good rest. Take care!

Do you stay up 20 hours on purpose or is it you just can't sleep? i don't sleep a lot, but could never stay up for 20 hours
I love being active during the daytime, yet also during the evening and overnight hours. I just don't like sleeping. But i attempt and get some sleep most days.
there are those nights i will get a lot of sleep and some nights i barely sleep
You take care, too!

I don't do well if I fall asleep after 8 p.m i need my sleep for sure.
Thank you, I had more sleep than usual but I am still sleepy and today i am really dizzy. I don't remember the last time i was not sleepy regardless of how much sleep i had.
On a positive note i did get to read a few pages of a boom before i went to bed last night
Have a great day!

I do have odd sleeping hours I admit. I go to sleep when tired and stay up when I wake up. I have to start to go to bed at a certain time and get up at the same time
