Taxing Social Security benefits is so wrong to me. I had chicken, crazy puffs, and two pears.

Glad I don't live in one of those states Yesterday I had more of the crab casserole and a crab omlet.

Interesting about the states that will continue to tax SS. I'm glad my state won't. How close are you to selling that car?

I don't think we should tax social security benefits at all, federally OR by state. People already paid the taxes when they worked. Just my two cents worth. But of course, the government always wants its cut. Although, Trump has said he wants to get rid of taxing social security on the federal level. We'll have to see if he actually does it, but it was part of his campaign. That and not taxing tips and overtime. We'll see. If Musk can cut some spending, we should be able to at least afford the tax cuts. For dinner I made On-Cor Salisbury steaks and we had salad on the side. Yummy.

good she came to help you. i had 2 pears yesterday for brunch i had tuna stake, kind of unusual taste. for breakfast cereals and for dinner kimchi with vegetable ramyeon and boiled egg

We had chicken pot pies.

Yesterday was the beef stew & rice concoction, a can of reduced sodium beef stew and half a cup of rice that turns two servings into two hearty servings. I finished off my applesauce yesterday, and they aren’t finished with my car so I’m relegated to peaches today (oh, boo hoo). I also made an amazing twist on the infamous potato soup by adding a can of Campbell’s spicy cheese nacho soup. You wouldn’t like it because it is spicy, but I took a sip from the bottom of the slow cooker pot and it was great. And there was hot tea, cold tea, bring along a demijohn. (That’s an old Flatt & Scruggs reference, a song called “Hot Corn, Cold Corn.”) Yogurt and a lemon fiber bar!!

You know me plenty of potatoes and some pork patties still left and Saturday is right around the corner,
