Monroe Township police officer saves the life a female who tried to end her life

Monroe County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) deputy Alec Preadmore answered an emergency call that a 67 year old female had been laying down on a railroad track on Tuesday afternoon at Monroe Township Michigan in an apparent attempt to end her life.
Officer Preadmore rushed to get the female who was about to get hit by a southbound train on South Telegraph Road out of harm's way.
The female was taken to a local ambulance by first responders to be treated for mental health illness.

Glad she was saved but no matter what happens in one's life I think that was a foolish thing to do. I hope she gets the help she needs,

It is hard when help only comes at a time like this, and wasn't apparently available to this lady before this crisis situation came about. Society has to better take care of people like this, I think.
