43 rhesus macaque monkeys escaped from the Alpha Genesis Primate Research Center in South Carolina. Supposedly they have never been used for testing and are too young to carry disease. I don't like the idea of using animals for research; and I hope they are telling the truth that these animals are not carrying any diseases. Breakfast - Protein bar Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Tomato basil chicken, spaghetti, mixed veggies, peaches, bread stick, grape juice Dessert/Snack - Chocolate chip muffin Dinner - Buffalo chicken/Swiss cheese sandwich What did you eat yesterday? You may be surprised to know I too am adamantly opposed to animal research. Onward and upward. For dinner I made a chicken fried rice stir fry and it was delicious.

Yes, I am surprised. Many people feel that it's justified...I don't.

I hope they get them back and find a wildlife facility for them. I hate testing on animals. I hate dried pears, chicken and rice, and black eyed peas.

I do too. I think it's cruel. Monkeys are so intelligent. It's not fair.

I hope they are being truthful too. What were they doing there if not for research of some kind.

I had a marvelous lunch, chicken, broccoli, and pasta in a garlic sauce (not fancy, it was a frozen meal) with some ranch dressing mix-covered hash browns for lunch, and turkey & dressing with apples for dinner. Yogurt, peaches, fiber. Oh, and my car. Going to Chuy’s today!!

I don't like it either..and am hoping most of them evade capture. Beaufort SC is fairly warm. Maybe they will establish their own colony somewhere.

Breakfast was bacon, eggs, toast. Lunch was chicken wings, mashed potato and corn. Dinner was beef ribs, baked potato and green beans. We had pineapple chunks at night.
