The only reason some say why he won was because the Electorate did not want a woman president and a half American They chose a convicted felon Wonder what will happen to all those cases. against him. The link below gives details of the criminal cases against him
The former president is juggling potentially explosive legal battles with campaigning for the White House.

@allknowing I wonder why America is dragging its feet about not electing a woman? So many other nations have elected women - UK, India, Germany, Israel, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, South Korea, Bangladesh, Argentina, Ireland ….

The evangelicals who think adultery is not one of the Ten Commandments so T is fine will tell you that the Bible says women can’t rule over men. (This is intended as sarcasm.)

We have not yet had someone qualified for the position. When one comes along, we will elect her.

( why America is dragging its feet about not electing a woman?) America isn't dragging our feet, the reason why we haven't is cause the right 1 hasn't come up yet, BOTH Hillary & Harris would have crumpled & crippled America to it's core.

Half American? She is a full American. If you’re talking about her being a woman of color, Obama was also not white. Being a “half American” had nothing to do with it.

It is not what I say but what has been written about her that She is a mixed-race, Jamaican and Indian woman and who was born to two immigrant parents in Oakland, California.

Trump’s attorneys are expected to enter a filing arguing that as a president-elect, he is entitled to the same constitutional protections as a sitting president and should be protected from any action by state prosecutors.

@allknowing You should read Article II about Presidential Immunity: "... The president of the United States has absolute immunity from civil lawsuits if the suit arose due to actions the president took within their constitutional authority" Civil lawsuits means that he is not immune should he kill someone.

Kamala could not urge to the emotions of the general American public! Also being from democratics, she did not stand against the Israel Gaza war for which many of anti Trump voters did not support her! They all know what is his attitude towards women and yet they chose him which means they are not looking for good human being!

Media highlights and make things seem the way they want to portray. People vote on ground realities. Hate him or love him...he has the mandate and let's respect it. Kamala could not put her policies very clear to people, she could not connect much to the ground realities people were seeking. And she is full American, America being the land of immigrants. About the charges, many feel that most were framed. Just hope that he rules the country well and is good for the world too..

If you think Trump is innocent that will be another story soon to be written. So you say Trump is framed and all what you read in that link I have provided is hogwash?

There were complicated reasons, her being a woman was probably the least of them.

I don't understand what's wrong with having a lady president? Isn't she capable enough? Or has Mr. Donald Trump won just because they again wanted a male president? I can't believe a country like the US is thinking on these terms if indeed they are.

In India most politicians are criminals. Their crimes have been overlooked. Our Prime minister is accused of Godhra riots.

@allknowing In India politicians in power use the court according to their whims. They are rarely get convicted.

The term "convicted felon" is VERY loosely applied here. Anyone who wants to believe that to be true needs to closely examine the case. It was hardly a real conviction because there was no real crime attached to it. That's not according to me. That's according to law scholars who have called out the entire case as meritless and bogus. They WANTED the conviction, so they created a crime. The people who brought the case were never Trumpers and guided by the Biden administration and Democrats who were working very hard to do anything they could to try and remove a political opponent. I am confused by your "half American" comment by the way.

So according to you Trump is innocent and has not done anything wrong despite what you have read in the link that I have provided? May be becasue he is now a President he will be absolved of all. I have commented about Harris elsewhere.

If Trump has committed no crime why then no one said so till now?

True. People have to be born in the United States in order to run for president. And while “convicted felon” might sound bad, anyone who has read anything other than a casual biography knows that we’ve had LOTS of felons who were elected president…just not convicted. Nixon, Harding, Clinton, Andrew Johnson (okay, he was impeached, but that failed), etc.

Everything they did to try to do to keep Trump out FAILED ! ! & all the so called cases against him will & SHOULD BE thrown out cause it was all a scam to keep him from being president.

They were cases brought without merit SIMPLY to be able to say two things. "He was indicted," and "He was convicted." Just like the impeachments. Completely meritless, but it didn't matter because all they wanted to be able to say was, "He was impeached." Doesn't matter if in any of these instances there was a reason. It just mattered that they happened, and they could say they did. AND they knew too well that at least half the population wouldn't bother to ask any questions or seek out the truth.
