Sold for over a million dollars. Who gets the money?

I just read that a picture made by a robot with AI had been sold for over a million bucks. I wonder. Who gets the money? The robot, as it should be as it is the painter? The owner if it has an owner maybe Musk). Maybe I should start buying brushes and paints for Luna instead of spending so much in cakes. It is crystal clear that I cannot paint. And even if I could, I would not be able to sell my paints in much money. Not even Van Gogh got much money for his sunflowers in his time. But we won´t see the end of the world by climate change. It will end for us before.

It is ridiculous to pay such a high price made from a "machine". The world is going in the wrong direction.

@LadyDuck I wholly agree. It is specially dangerous when someone so insane is also so powerful.

I suppose that depending where the AI was built it was how the recommendations was. Anyway, lately, every gadget is made in China.

@marguicha I think it just searches the internet like we could do ourselves but it's very much faster and lays it all out nicely.

@JudyEv All gadgets made in China are equally disposable. I would recomend you to buy the most inexpensive.

It is also ridiculous the way that some people spend money when there are others in need of it.

Technically, when you create something with AI, it's yours. So, the person who prompted the AI to make the picture should be the rightful owner and enjoy the money. Until the law changes.

It seems to me that I won´t be spared because I´m old. I´ll end my life being Elon Musk´s slave. At this time of my life, I don´t mind much being a slave. But there are limits. And Musk is, for me, a very disgusting person.

It must be some painting! I guess whoever "owns"it will make the money.

Thank you. But I guess, Miss Luna has not artist genes. She prefers to bask in the sun if there is some.

That is interesting and a good question. I know a guy online who makes incredible artwork with the help of Al.

that's so sad... and meanwhile real artist aren't making much money... maybe you should give paint and brushes to Luna. i've been in one aquarium where you can buy paintings that were painted by animals for like 70USD. that was crazy...

We would run out of notebooks if we wrote about the crazy things men do. With US$70 you can feed a hungry child for several days.
