Well...my intentions were good, and I DID get a lot done. I really had no idea how awful my old computer was..it was covered with dust and I mean covered deep. All the vents were covered. I had to take a brush to get it all out. It being down where I would have to get on my knees to really see, I dusted the top of it, and once a month..I took the duster and dusted down the sides, but couldn't really see anything. WOW...I felt so ashamed that I had let that go. Cleaned it all up and now have the old and the new on my desk. The old one is working, but need an adapter to get the monitor hooked to my new unit. The plug won't fit in the new one. My monitor is like 10 years old. Went to Best Buy and brought home one we thought would work, but I do not have an HDMI plug on the new computer. So I replugged everything on the old unit. Will take back the adaptor tomorrow and took a picture of the whole back of the new unit so we can figure out something. Hoping I don't have to have a new monitor. Anyway with the 2 units on my desk there isn't much room for anything else. LOL My old computer will make 3 of the new unit..LOL The size difference is really noticeable with both side by side. Once I get the new one set up, I will be working on doing some deep cleaning UNDER that part of the desk where the old one was. WOW..can not believe it..no wonder I was sneezing so much in my office. I did a deep clean about 6 months ago, but not BEHIND where the old unit was. Found a bracelet I thought I had lost. LOL Anyway..having leftovers tonight.
