So, anyway I am looking out at my car and the windshield is covered with leaves! That is a first.It has been breezy this morning, and I guess kicked up those that were lying around and falling down. I have heard of cleaning snow off your car, but never leaves. I have a little broom outside that I use to clear the leaves off the steps, today, I guess it will be employed to clean the car. I have two things to do today, in opposite directions,neither of them close by. I could skip one of them, but it is a Christmas craft show, I enjoy and I missed it last year..so I do want to go. The other thing is a picnic with the group I used to belong to. I made a dish for that so I really want to go. I think I am going to end up going to both. WTH? Gas prices are down.

@rakski Yeah, they were pretty good. The crafters seem to have raised their prices since the last time I was there though. What else is new?

There are so many around this time of year. I was just looking at another one that is in a town about an hour from here that I think I have never been to. I might check it out next week just for fun to see what the town is like..because they have some neat little Christmas cottages set up, and they call it Candy Cane lane. Hopefully, if I go they will have decent public parking. I like the one I am going to today, because it is an inside/outside deal,which is good down here for this time of the year.

few days ago i cleaned the backyard and i was so proud of myself because there were no leaves. next morning - it’s all brown/orange 
it can be annoying

Its pretty useless to try to rake or blow leaves here at least until the end of the season. You do it once, and the next day it looks the same.

Sounds like a lot of fun. I had leaves 6" thick on the front steps. My husband's 2nd cousin had to sweep them off. That time of year. Have a good day.

I hope you had a good time at the craft show.
I am so spoiled as I have an enclosed garage and an automated door. It’s so nice not to have to clean off leaves, ice, and snow. I love not having to do that.
